Princess Catherine has surprised The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust with a Christmas tree from her annual carol service held earlier this month. Taking to their official Instagram account, @royalmarsdennhs shared a picture of the beautiful tree with purple, pink and gold baubles and decorations.

The caption read: "Thank you to HRH The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron of The Royal Marsden with HRH The Prince of Wales, for donating a majestic Christmas tree from the 'Together at Christmas' Carol Service, held at Westminster Abbey earlier this month."

They added: "We'd also like to thank Stephen Phair at @premier_plants for donating the decorations, and for his time decorating it so beautifully [purple-heart emoji]."

The post also shared that it has been placed in the entrance of the Oak Cancer Centre in Sutton.

It previously appeared at the royal's sixth annual Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey on December 5.

The sweet gesture comes 20 months after Catherine revealed that she was undergoing preventative chemotherapy in an emotional video released by Kensington Palace.

She later announced that she had finished chemotherapy in a video, which also featured Prince William and their children, shared in September 2024.

Earlier this year, Catherine paid a visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital where she was treated.

This marked a significant step in her recovery journey as she returned to public duties after being in remission.

Speaking of her recovery, the 43-year-old previously described the journey as a "roller coaster" but expressed hope and resilience, revealing that she was focusing on finding a "new normal".
