According to the JIC 2025 report, a total of 187,223 candidates registered for JEE Advanced 2025. Out of these, 180,422 candidates appeared in JEE Advanced 2026. Of these, 54,378 candidates qualified, and 18,188 candidates secured admission to the IITs.
According to the JIC 2025 report, in the admission session 2025-26, 7,118 candidates from the General category secured admission to the IITs. Similarly, 4,965 candidates from the OBC category, 2,008 from the EWS category, 2,730 from the SC category, and 1,367 from the ST category also secured admission to the IITs.

A look at the JEE Advanced 2025 Admission Cutoff
According to the JIC 2025 report, candidates who scored 92 marks in JEE Advanced 2025 secured admission. In the EWS category, male students secured a seat in the IITs with 78 marks (24.67%) and female students also with 78 marks (21.67%). In the OBC category, male students secured a seat with 74 marks (20.55%) and female students with 66 marks (18.33%). In the SC category, male students secured admission with 43 marks (11.94%) and female students with 46 marks (12.78%). In the ST category, male students secured admission with 37 marks (10.28%) and female students with 41 marks (11.39%).
