Bihar Driving License: The Transport Department has announced that eligible candidates who pass the driving exam will now obtain their driving license within 24 hours, which is a huge relief for applicants in Bihar. In the past, the public experienced inconvenience since the procedure took anywhere from one to ten days.

Transport and Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar gave the chosen agency stringent guidelines at a departmental review meeting, stressing that public convenience comes first and that license issuance laxity would not be accepted. He said that the deadline must be closely adhered to and that complaints of delays must cease.

Additionally, the minister ordered that all districts maintain fully operational printing facilities for vehicle registration certificates (RC) and chip-less laminated driver’s licenses. The agency has been instructed to make sure that each district has a minimum of 90 days’ supply of card printing supplies. The agency will be held entirely accountable for any inconvenience caused by a shortfall, and stringent measures will be taken.

According to official statistics, district transport offices receive over 55,000 applications for driver’s licenses each month.

Muzaffarpur led the state with 234 online applications on December 16 alone, followed by Patna (163), Gopalganj (88), Samastipur and Bhagalpur (87 apiece). All District Transport Officers (DTOs) have been directed by Minister Shravan Kumar to keep a close eye on the procedure and make sure that there are no needless delays in granting licenses to qualified applicants.

Input your date of birth and your learner’s license number.

After completing the form, submit the files to the internet.

The fees must be paid online.

Bring the original documentation when you visit the RTO office.

Present the RTO official with the application number.

After receiving a schedule from the RTO, show up for the driving test.

Candidates who pass the exam will now get their license in a day.
