Varun Dhawan: The next film “Border 2” will feature actor Varun Dhawan in a whole new role. However, he had to go through some rigorous preparation that included mobility, strength training, and endurance exercises in order to perform the part inspired by the real-life war hero, Colonel Hoshiar Singh Dahiya.

Speaking about his part, Varun said that even portraying a soldier on television required a certain degree of mental and physical self-control.

He continued by saying that the fact that they were filming in actual locales made things even more fascinating and enabled him to adopt a soldier’s perspective.

“Because we were filming at actual sites like Babina, Border 2 required a new degree of mental and physical discipline, and such circumstances really put you in the mentality of a soldier. Fitness becomes less about looking a specific way and more about endurance and recuperation since you’re out there all day, often in challenging situations,” Varun said.

In addition to his physical preparation, Varun made every effort to maintain a modest, high-protein diet that included nutritious carbohydrates and enough of water to stay hydrated throughout the outside shoot.

“The terrain and weather can’t be kind, so my routine had to be very functional, with lots of strength training, endurance work, and mobility,” he said. I followed a fairly straightforward diet: plenty of water, healthy carbohydrates, and high protein to support extended outside shooting.

The main cast of “Border 2” will include Varun, Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty.

“Border 2” is being directed by Anurag Singh and is supported by Bhushan Kumar, Nidhi Dutta, and Shiv Chanana and Binoy Gandhi.

The next military drama “Border 2” is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 23, 2026, and the trailer has already generated a lot of interest.
