New Delhi: The UPSC Civil Services Examination is regarded as one of the toughest tests in the country. Balancing a job while preparing for this exam and securing a top rank requires extraordinary dedication, a feat accomplished by Srishti.

Srishti not only cleared the exam but also achieved an impressive Rank 6, earning her place in the IAS. Her story illustrates that with strong determination, significant goals can be achieved even with limited time and resources.

Growing up in Delhi, Srishti faced numerous challenges. After losing her father at a young age, her mother took on the responsibility of the family alone. The struggles and sacrifices made by her mother instilled a sense of responsibility and independence in Srishti. She quickly realized that education was the key to her future, which motivated her to work hard consistently.

Srishti has always been serious about her studies. She graduated in Political Science from Indira Trust College and later completed her post-graduation from IGNOU. During her academic journey, she set her sights on civil services. Her understanding of the subjects and regular study habits laid a strong foundation for her preparation, which paid off during the examination.

Before attempting the civil services exam, Srishti secured a position at the Reserve Bank of India and also worked in the Ministry of Social Justice. This experience served as a valuable learning opportunity. Despite having a job, her dream of becoming an IAS officer remained intact, prompting her to continue her preparation without losing focus on her goal.

Juggling an 8 to 9-hour job while preparing for the UPSC was no easy task. Srishti utilized her lunch breaks for studying, made use of the office library, and dedicated her holidays to preparation. She developed a habit of daily revision and practice, maximizing her time by sacrificing sleep and leisure.

In 2023, Srishti passed the UPSC Civil Services Examination on her very first attempt, achieving Rank 6. Her success is a testament to patience, relentless effort, and self-confidence. Today, as an IAS officer, Srishti serves as an inspiration to countless aspirants, proving that with strong willpower, even the impossible can become possible.
