King Charles and Prince William are likely to be feeling "infuriated" about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's behaviour, including a newly released photograph of him at Sandringham, a royal expert has said. On Friday, a photograph of Andrew lying across the laps of five women in a room at Sandringham was released as part of the Epstein Files.
Although the five women have had their faces covered, the photograph clearly showed Andrew smiling and happy, with Ghislaine Maxwell - convicted sex trafficker and Jeffrey Epstein's former girlfriend - standing behind them. The photograph, although unclear when it was taken, is believed to have been snapped in the saloon room at Sandringham - the room the Royal Family use as part of their Christmas festivities. Being pictured in the Epstein files does not imply and wrongdoing, and Andrew has always vehemently denied any accusations of wrongdoing.
Talking about how the Royal Family will feel about this, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said they will find the image "embarrassing".
He told Express.co.uk: "It appears that the photograph of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor lying across the laps of a row of women with Ghislaine Maxwell looking on was taken at a black tie event at Sandringham, according to Sky News.
"King Charles and Prince William will have been expecting further embarrassments to emerge featuring Andrew and possibly his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. This is certainly a bizarre image."
He continued: "The Royal Family will obviously find the image embarrassing.
"Andrew's behaviour and lack of any repentance will undoubtedly have infuriated them."
