The team was selected at the senior selection committee meeting of the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) on Friday. The team demonstrates a balance of experience and youthful exuberance. The top order consists of batsmen Atharva Taide, Dhruv Shourey and Aman Mokhade while the bowling attack has options like Darshan Nalkande, Nachiket Bhute and Ganesh Bhosle.
