Imran Khan has said that he will challenge the decision given against him in Islamabad High Court.

Imran Khan said, I have sent a message to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi to prepare for the street movement. The entire country will have to stand up for its rights. Also, on receiving 17 years imprisonment in Toshakhana-II case, Imran Khan said that this decision is not surprising to him. He further said that he had already instructed his legal team to approach the High Court against this decision.
The former PM said, like the baseless decisions and punishments of the last three years, this decision of Toshakhana-II is also nothing new to me. The judge has given this decision in a hurry without any evidence and without completing the legal formalities. He also said that his legal team was not even listened to.
Imran Khan said, our books, TV and meetings – all have been banned. Every prisoner can watch TV in the jail, but Bushra Bibi and I are not even allowed to watch TV. The books sent by my family have also been stopped by the jail administration. He said that he is deeply saddened and hurt by the ill-treatment and cruelty being meted out to his sisters and other women outside Adiala jail.
According to Dawn report, Imran Khan said that it is very important for Insaaf Lawyers Forum and lawyers to come forward in the fight for the restoration of the rule of law and the Constitution. In an official statement, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) described the decision as blatantly unconstitutional, illegal and the worst example of political vendetta.
Addressing a press conference along with senior PTI leader Asad Qaiser, PTI general secretary Salman Akram Raja alleged that the case is based only on promissory notes and lacks concrete evidence.
