Sarfaraz Ahmed: Sarfaraz Ahmed made Pakistan the champion of Champions Trophy in 2017 under his captaincy. Now, under his mentorship, he has also made Pakistan win the Under 19 Asia Cup title. Pakistan won the Under-19 Asia Cup 2025 title by defeating India under the mentorship of Sarfaraz Ahmed. After this success, a new wave has started regarding Sarfaraz Ahmed. Cricket fans of Pakistan have demanded from PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi that Sarfaraz Ahmed should now be included in Pakistan's T20 World Cup team.

Demand to add Sarfaraz to T20 WC team

Two videos of a Pakistani fan who has made a special demand are going viral on social media. In one, he is seen with Under-19 team mentor Sarfaraz Ahmed and in the other with PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. Pakistani fan is seen telling Mohsin Naqvi that Sarfaraz never cheats. After that he places a demand before the PCB Chairman that he should also be included in the T20 World Cup team.

Why the demand to add Sarfaraz Ahmed to the team?

Sarfaraz never cheats… There is a reason for the Pakistani fan saying so in the video. In fact, Pakistan has never lost to India in the finals of ICC tournaments when Sarfaraz Ahmed was in the team. Be it the captain Sarfaraz Ahmed who defeated India in the final of the Champions Trophy in 2017 or Sarfaraz Ahmed, the mentor of the Pakistani team which defeated India by 191 runs in the final of the U19 Asia Cup.

Will Mohsin Naqvi accept the special demand?

Pakistan has neither selected its team for the T20 World Cup 2026 nor announced its support staff. It remains to be seen whether on the special demand of the fans, Mohsin Naqvi gives any big responsibility to Sarfaraz Ahmed in the T20 World Cup 2026? Will he include him in the Pakistani team in the T20 World Cup to be played in India and Sri Lanka?
