Bihar: After its poor showing in the most recent Assembly election, the Congress will begin a thorough push to revitalize the party in Bihar by bolstering its grassroots organization.

Bihar

Following the conclusion of the unfavorable Kharmas period on January 14, the party will begin a push to strengthen its organization at the panchayat level, pinpoint organizational flaws, and energize its members.

Senior and seasoned Congress officials will set up camp in several districts as part of the party’s revitalization drive, reviewing party operations from the district to the panchayat level. On the basis of its results, a specific action plan for the future will be created.

According to party insiders, the campaign will be carried out across the state in stages. A group of top officials will spend a few days in each district to evaluate the state of the organization at the panchayat, block, and district levels. A thorough analysis of the party’s operations, booth-level strength, membership drive progress, and the causes of the election loss will be carried out during this period.

During the district camps, direct contact will be established with local workers and leaders. In order to resolve weaknesses, employees will be encouraged to freely discuss their difficulties, provide solutions, and highlight local issues.

Senior officials of the party will also determine whether regions have inadequate organizational structures and how they should be reorganized. Identifying inactive office-bearers, delegating tasks to active employees, and granting the Yuva Congress and Mahila Congress a more effective role will also be prioritized. Only six of the 61 seats that Congress ran for were won in the most recent Assembly election.

A novel strategy

During the district camps, direct contact will be established with local workers and leaders. In order to resolve weaknesses, employees will be encouraged to freely discuss their difficulties, provide solutions, and highlight local issues.
