GRSE Vacancy 2025: Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) has announced the recruitment of apprentices for the training year 2025-26. This recruitment includes a total of 226 positions for Human Resources, Trade, Graduate, and Technician apprentices. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from December 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM to January 10, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

Who can apply?
The GRSE 2025 recruitment has different eligibility criteria for other positions. To become a Human Resources apprentice, candidates must be graduates with a first-class (60%/55%) MBA/PG degree or diploma in Human Resources, Personnel Management, or a related field.

There are also different eligibility criteria for Trade Apprentices, Graduate Apprentices, and Technician Apprentices. For Trade Apprentices (Ex-ITI), passing the AITT and possessing an NTC/NCVT certificate in the relevant trade is mandatory. Freshers applying for Trade Apprentice positions must have at least passed the 10th standard. Graduate apprentices must hold a BE/B. A tech degree in Engineering obtained in 2023, 2024, or 2025, while Technician apprentices must have a diploma in the relevant subject.

Age Limit Conditions
The age limit for GRSE apprentice recruitment varies depending on the position. The maximum age for Human Resources apprentices is 26 years. For Trade Apprentices (Ex-ITI), the age of the candidate should be between 14 and 25 years, and for Trade Apprentices (Freshers), it should be between 14 and 20 years.

Age relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/OBC and other eligible candidates as per the Government of India rules.

Selection of Human Resources Apprentices
Human Resources apprentices will be selected based on the marks obtained in their postgraduate degree. Candidates with good scores will be called for document verification and an interview. The final selection will be based solely on performance in the interview.

How other trainees will be selected:
Other trainees will be selected based on their marks obtained in the examination. For example, AITT marks for ex-ITI trainees, 10th standard marks for fresher trade trainees, and degree or diploma marks for graduate/technician trainees will be considered.

A common merit list will be prepared according to the trade or subject. In case of a tie in marks between two candidates, the older candidate will be given preference. Selected candidates will be required to undergo document verification, a medical test, and police verification at the time of joining.
