Gujarat Police Recruitment 2025: There's great news for those dreaming of a job in the Gujarat Police. The Gujarat Police Recruitment Board (GPRB) has announced recruitment for more than 13,000 posts in 2025. How many posts are available?
This recruitment drive includes a total of 13,591 posts. Of these, 858 posts are for PSI and Jailer, while the remaining 12,733 posts are for Lokrakshak, Constable, Armed Constable, SRPF, and Jail Sepoy. This is one of the largest police recruitments in the state in recent years.

Who can apply?
Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria and age limit according to their respective posts.

PSI / Jailer: Bachelor's Degree, Age 21–35 years
Lokrakshak / Constable / Jail Sepoy: 12th Pass, Age 18–33 years
In addition, physical standards will also apply. Minimum height and chest measurements are prescribed for men, while women have different requirements for height and weight. Reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government rules.

How to apply online?
Follow these steps after the application window opens...

Visit the OJAS Gujarat portal.
Fill out the online application form and register.
Pay the fee: ₹100 for General candidates. SC/ST, SEBC, women, and ex-servicemen are exempted from the fee.
Keep scanned copies of documents ready – educational certificates, proof of date of birth, and caste certificate.
Submit the form after checking all the details.

What is the selection process?
The recruitment process will include both physical and written tests.

First stage: Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – these will be of a qualifying nature.
Second stage: Written examination. For PSI: Objective and descriptive papers – total 300 marks.
For Constable and Lokrakshak: MCQ-based test – 200 questions, 200 marks, 0.25 negative marking for each incorrect answer.
This will be followed by document verification and, in some cases, an interview.
