Jofra archer ruled out: England has announced its playing eleven for the Boxing Day Test with Australia. The big news is that England's fast bowler Joffra Archer was out of not only the Boxing Day Test but also the Ashes series. After Archer's exit, there are two changes in England's playing eleven. The Boxing Day Test is to be played in Melbourne from 26 December, which will be the fourth Test of the Ashes series.
Jofra Archer has been out of the last two Tests of the Ashes due to injury. There is a strain in his left muscle. Gus Atkinson has returned to the team for the Boxing Day Test in place of Joffra Archer. Earlier, Gus Atkinson was also a part of the team in the first two Tests of the Ashes series. But he took only 3 wickets in those 2 tests. Talking about Joffra Archer, he has been the second most successful bowler of the team by taking 9 wickets in the first 3 tests of the series. Apart from this, his half-century innings with the bat in the third test was also amazing.
