Scientists have told that this was a Phase-I clinical trial, in which a total of 192 healthy adults (18-49 years) were included. Some of these people were given one or two doses of the vaccine in different quantities, while one group was given a placebo.

ICMR is also working on vaccine

India's ICMR is also working to make a vaccine for Nipah virus. However, its trials have not started yet. Cases of Nipah virus also occur in India. Cases of this virus are reported in Kerala. Some people have also died. Public health expert Dr. Sameer Bhati says that the first phase trial of Nipah vaccine is raising hopes that a vaccine can be made soon. If this happens, the threat of Nipah virus can be reduced or eliminated to a great extent.
