Under this strategy, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) is preparing to send its three fast bowlers Avesh Khan, Mohsin Khan and young pacer Naman Tiwari to South Africa.

Which foreign league will you join?

According to media reports, these three players can leave for Durban next week. There he will train and rehab with the Durban Supergiants during the SA20 League. Durban Super Giants is a sister franchise of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), which will give the players the benefit of working under the same system and support staff. The purpose of this entire program is to make the injured players completely fit and prepare them for the matches before IPL 2026.

LSG took special permission from BCCI

Although Avesh Khan, Mohsin Khan and Naman Tiwari are not currently included in the BCCI central contract nor are they associated with their state teams, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have taken formal permission from the BCCI as a precautionary measure. The franchise wanted to avoid any kind of regulatory dispute, so this plan was implemented only after getting the green signal from the board.

You will get special benefit from the coaching staff

In South Africa, these bowlers will get a chance to train under the supervision of experienced coaches. The Durban Supergiants’ support staff includes names like Tom Moody, Bharat Arun, Lance Klusener and Karl Crowe. The special thing is that Tom Moody, Bharat Arun and Carl Crowe are also part of the coaching setup of LSG. In such a situation, players will be able to get consistent guidance on technique, fitness and workload management.
