PC Jeweller Limited. one of the largest jewelry companies is on investors radar today. In its latest exchange filing on Tuesday the company reported that its proposal to set up 1000 jewelry retail franchise units was recently approved by the Uttar Pradesh governments Directorate of Industries and Enterprise Promotion for onboarding as a franchise brand on the CM Yuva portal. Now in this connection on December 19 2025 the company had signed an MoU with the CM Yuva Mission operated under the MSME and Export Promotion Department Government of Uttar Pradesh regarding entrepreneurship development and employment generation a copy of which was received by the company on December 23 2025. The MoU aims to promote entrepreneurship in the state enhance youth employability encourage self-employment and contribute to the economic development of Uttar Pradesh through innovation-based businesses. The company also stated that this initiative will allow it to expand its jewelry retail network. As of 10:53 am the companys stock was trading at Rs 9.64 up 0.63 per cent or Rs 0.06 on the BSE and NSE. The company recently announced in another exchange filing that it had further reduced its debt to banks by 23% in the previous quarter. The company stated that this reduction was in accordance with the terms of the settlement agreement. This new move follows debt reduction of 9% in the first quarter of fiscal year 2025-26 and more than 50% in the previous fiscal year. The company further said that its target is to become a debt-free company by the end of FY 2025-26. Earlier PC Jeweller said it will help 1000 certified goldsmiths in Uttar Pradesh to become entrepreneurs by providing them support in branding design and marketing activities. In a statement Delhi-based PC Jeweller Ltd said it has collaborated with the CM Yuva Udyami Yojana to empower and transform PM Vishwakarma-certified Goldsmiths (Sunar) into jewellery entrepreneurs and organised retail partners.
