The correction window for the CTET February 2026 application has been opened. Candidates can make corrections to their forms until December 26th.

If you have applied for CTET February 2026 and want to make corrections, this news is for you. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the correction window for the CTET February 2026 application. Candidates who wish to make corrections to their Central Teacher Eligibility Test application form can do so through the correction window on the official CBSE CTET website, ctet.nic.in. But do you know which fields you can correct in the application?

Which fields can be corrected?

A list of all the fields that candidates can correct has been released by the CBSE. Candidates can change the spelling of their name, father's and mother's name, date of birth, category, gender, disability category, and the paper chosen (Paper I or Paper II). In addition, academic information and details of the institution from which the degree or diploma was obtained can also be changed. Candidates cannot change their registration number and mobile number.

What is the last date for making corrections?

The last date for making corrections to the CTET February 2026 application is December 26, 2025. Candidates should make corrections to their applications on or before this date.

  • First, candidates should visit the official CBSE CTET website ctet.nic.in.
  • Then, click on the CTET February 2026 Correction Window link on the homepage.
  • A new page will open where candidates will have to enter their login details.
  • The application form will then be displayed.
  • Now, candidates should check the application form and make the necessary corrections.
  • After that, click on submit and download the confirmation page.

Finally, keep a hard copy of it for future reference. The CTET February 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on February 8th. The exam will consist of two papers – Paper I will be held in the afternoon shift from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, and Paper II will be held in the morning shift from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
