UP Home Guard Exam 2025 Date OUT: There's a major update for candidates who have applied for the Uttar Pradesh Home Guard recruitment. The exam dates for over 41,000 UP Home Guard posts have been announced. The Home Guard exam will be held on April 25th, 26th, and 27th, 2026. UP Home Guard Exam 2025 Pattern: What is it?
The best thing about the Home Guard recruitment is that you only need to focus on one subject in the written exam. There will be no questions from Math, Reasoning, English, or Hindi. Only 100 questions from General Knowledge will be asked in the exam. Therefore, strengthen your General Knowledge as much as possible. Study UP General Knowledge along with current affairs in detail. Each question in the exam will carry 1 mark. Candidates scoring less than 25 percent will not qualify for the next stage. The exam duration will be 2 hours, during which you will have to complete the entire paper.

What is the required height for UP Home Guard?
After the written exam, the recruitment board will release the merit list and cutoff. Candidates who pass will participate in the physical standards test and document verification in the next stage of recruitment. The height of male candidates should be 168 cm. The height for male candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes is set at 160 cm. In addition, the chest measurement of male candidates should be 79 cm unexpanded and 84 cm expanded. The height of female candidates should be 152 cm. For women belonging to the ST category, a height of 147 cm will also be acceptable.
After document verification and physical measurement, candidates will have to participate in the physical efficiency test. The race will be different for men and women. Male candidates will have to complete a 4.8 km race in 28 minutes. Women will have to complete a 2.4 km race in 16 minutes. Candidates who complete the race will be selected for the medical stage in this recruitment.
