The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Stenographer Grade-C (LDCE) examination. Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on a computer-based examination and a stenography skill test. The examination will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions worth 100 marks from the General Awareness section and questions worth 100 marks from the English section. The exam will be conducted for a total of two hours, with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. Candidates who qualify in this exam will then appear for a 200-mark stenography skill test.

Through this recruitment process, the SSC will appoint candidates to various government departments. Successful candidates will be recruited to departments such as the Central Secretariat Stenographers Service, Armed Forces Headquarters, and the Indian Foreign Service.
