It's not even Christmas Day and the Boxing Day sales have already started. Retailers, fresh off the back of running deals through November and December, continue to slash prices.
Currys has confirmed that its Boxing Day deals have started, with savings up to 40% off to entice shoppers to snap up those gifts they didn't get, or get those essentials for New Years Eve. These might be too late for Christmas shoppers, but those feeling brave might struggle through the crowds to buy on the high street.
Alternatively, the Argos sales might allow shoppers to collect from their local store before the big day.
One of the stand out items we've spotted in the sale is ideal for shoppers wanting to start 2026 with a bit of selfcare. The Therabody TheraFace LED Face Mask is £449, a £130 saving off the regular price £579.
The product uses LED light therapy on the wearers face, has a 120minute battery life and a two year guarantee. Shoppers who have bought it from Boots where it is also £449, have said: "I've used this religiously - I love how my skin feels and the vibrations of the mask are a lovely and relaxing nightly ritual.
"I have recommended it to all of my friends. I only wish it were easier to travel with." However some users have noted it is "heavy" when in use.
For those with fitness in mind, the Ultrahuman Ring Air is reduced to £230, a reduction of £99. This smart ring will track vitals like steps, sleep and heart rate and best of all, there's no need for a subscription with it.
That's not the only smart ring available: market leaders Oura also has a Boxing Day sale, with up to £150 off the Oura Ring 4. There's a full range of colours and finishes available (including the new ceramic) with different discounts on those models.
Smart rings have been something of a growing trend, offering similar features to fitness trackers, but in a smaller ring format with no display. While they're not as good for marathon training, they are great for sleep tracking and for anyone who doesn't want to wear a watch just to get steps data.
There's a wide range of discounts to be had with expectations that other retailers will continue to offer deals. Many retailers offered Black Friday deals in November, restoring prices before returning to deals in December.
Christmas sales are running into Boxing Day sales and New Years discounts, with more to come. Currys also offers to recycle unwanted tech, with a Cash for Trash scheme, where a £5 voucher is given for old hardware handed in at a Currys store. This voucher can be used when buying new tech instore or online with a £25 minimum spend - but best of all it helps get rid of electrical waste that might be cluttering up those cupboards and drawers.
