Starring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday while the film faced tough competition from Dhurandhar this romantic comedy managed to make a respectable opening. Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri becomes Kartik Aaryans Top Five Highest Opening Film Originally slated for a 2026 release Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri advanced its theatrical arrival to Christmas Day banking on the holiday advantage. As per early trade predictions the film’s opening was expected to be around Rs 5 crore net. However as per a report on Sacnilk the rom-com surpassed expectations by earning an early estimate of Rs 7.50 crore India net on Day 1 placing it among Kartik Aaryan’s top five highest openings at the box office. Despite the solid start the film could not eclipse the opening-day performance of Kartik’s franchise successes. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 had opened at Rs 36.60 crore while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022) debuted with Rs 14.11 crore. It also remains to be seen whether the film’s final Day 1 figures will manage to cross the opening of Satyaprem Ki Katha which had collected Rs 8.25 crore on its first day. Speaking of the occupancy figures the film reportedly registered an overall 34.56% Hindi occupancy with morning shows seeing the lowest footfalls at 18.18% while night shows performed best with 40.23% occupancy. These numbers indicate gradual momentum building as the day progressed because of the festive advantage. Competition from Dhurandhar However the Kartik-Ananya starrer faced tough competition from Dhurandhar which completed its third week at the box office on Thursday. As per reports the spy thriller earned an estimated Rs 26 crore during its third week marking one of the strongest third-week collections of the year. About Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri While Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri currently stands in the Rs 7 crore net range its gross collection has reportedly touched the Rs 9 crore mark.
