CEO: Police in Udaipur, Rajasthan, announced Friday that three persons, including the CEO of a private IT business, had been detained for allegedly gangraping a female manager of the company during a birthday celebration.
Police claim that the manager attended a party that the accused CEO, Jitesh Sisodia, threw for his birthday last Saturday.
A female executive who led the firm and her husband, Gaurav Sirohi of Meerut, were the other defendants in the case.
On Thursday, all three of the accused were taken into prison and brought before a judge, which remanded them to police detention for four days.
“After a complaint was registered at the Sukher police station under pertinent provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the accused were taken into custody. On Thursday, they appeared in court and were placed under police detention for four days, according to Udaipur Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal.
The lady said that after the celebration, other visitors gradually withdrew, leaving her alone.
Sisodia and Sirohi were sat in the female executive head’s vehicle when she offered to drop her off at home.
They gave the lady something they had purchased at a store that looked like smokes on the way.
After eating it, she reportedly passed out.
According to the lawsuit, she discovered she had been sexually abused when she woke up the next morning.
A case was filed in response to the woman manager’s complaint, and after questioning, the three defendants were taken into custody and taken into custody, according to the police.
They stated that after the woman’s medical checkup and statements were taken down, the matter was turned over to Additional Superintendent of Police Madhuri Verma.
