The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS) has announced a major internship initiative aimed at strengthening India’s sports management ecosystem and encouraging young talent to take up careers in the sports sector. The program is designed to engage youth in various administrative, scientific, and strategic aspects of sports development, helping India emerge as a global sports powerhouse.

Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, said the initiative will empower young students to become a meaningful part of India’s sports transformation journey. He emphasized that the country needs a strong institutional system supported by skilled professionals and youth-driven innovation to push India forward in the global sporting arena.
