Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor suffered a fresh humiliation this year after he was spotted on Christmas Day alone while both his daughters joined the rest of the Royal Family in Sandringham. Princess Beatrice made the surprise appearance after it was believed she would spend Christmas with friends abroad this year rather than being forced to choose between spending it with her disgraced father or her royal relatives.

Princess Eugenie was also spotted with her sister walking the short distance from Sandringham House to St Mary Magdalene's Church on Christmas morning with the rest of the Firm, in another blow to the ex-Prince.
