After ‘jaggery cultivation’, now ‘jaggery seeds’ are in discussion. The matter is to a statement by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. In fact, after a statement given in Betul, the CM is being trolled heavily on social media. In this statement he had said that ‘Jaggery is very good in Betul. In such a situation, a cluster should be formed to increase the production of jaggery. Tell me who plants jaggery and who has his own farming. After this statement, Congress also fiercely cornered the Chief Minister regarding ‘jaggery cultivation’.
Now, on the basis of this statement, a person in Damoh has demanded ‘jaggery seeds’. Not only the demand but he has even lodged a complaint regarding this in the CM Helpline. The person, who identified himself as Chandrapal Singh Parihar, has said that as per the statement given by the Chief Minister, he needs jaggery seeds and the Gram Sevak is not giving him these seeds. This complaint has been properly registered in the CM Helpline.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said something from the stage in Betul which is now being discussed across the country. Talking about forming clusters to increase the production of jaggery, he asked the farmers who plants jaggery in their fields. Certainly this was a case of ‘slip of tongue’ but Congress did not let this opportunity be missed at all. On one hand, many leaders including Jitu Patwari surrounded him for this statement, on the other hand, in Neemuch, Congress held a demonstration and even gave a memorandum to the district administration to provide ‘jaggery seeds’.
But this matter did not stop here… Now a person has called the CM helpline and lodged a complaint that he wants to cultivate jaggery in his field but the gram sevak is not providing him jaggery seeds. The complainant has given his name as Chandrapal Singh, who is a resident of village Devran in Damoh district. He has filed a complaint on behalf of farmer Aman Thakur that he wants to cultivate jaggery in two acres of land.
This audio is now viral on social media in which the complainant is saying that ‘Just now CM Saheb had said in Betul that all of you will cultivate jaggery. Now I have to cultivate jaggery in two acres. Its seeds are not being made available by the Gram Sevak and information is needed about where the seeds will be available. At first the operator listened to everything she said, but after some time she too became confused. Trying to correct the complainant, he asked, ‘Sir, you are not getting the sugarcane seeds.’ In response to his question, Chandrapal Singh said that ‘jaggery seeds’ are needed. The operator asked what is the seed of jaggery…jaggery is made from sugarcane. In response to this, the complainant said that CM Saheb has said that now jaggery seeds have started arriving and he needs jaggery seeds and has to lodge a complaint about not getting it. After this, this strange complaint of the complainant has been registered in the CM Helpline and it has been said that this complaint will be forwarded to the concerned authorities.
