Alia Bhatt: Moviegoers may not be able to see the high-profile box office confrontation between Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt in April 2026.

Yash Raj Films claims that in order to prevent a conflict with Salman Khan’s impending war epic “Battle of Galwan,” they have chosen to delay the release of Alia Bhatt’s much-anticipated espionage thriller “Alpha.”

The initial release date of “Alpha” was April 17, 2026. However, in order to prioritize a more seamless theatrical window, the producers have decided to postpone the movie.

In order to prevent a direct conflict with Battle of Galwan, Alpha is being moved from its originally scheduled release date of April 17, 2026, to #SalmanKhan, replacing #AdityaChopra. Adarsh posted on X, “The makers will now announce a new release date after evaluating the theatrical release calendar over the next couple of months. #YRF had locked April 17, 2026, for Alpha.”

This is not the first time that Alia Bhatt’s “Alpha” has been delayed. The movie was rescheduled from its original Christmas 2025 release date to April 17, 2026. The movie is anticipated to be released later in 2026 as a result of the most recent delay, but the precise date has not yet been disclosed.

“Alpha,” which was directed by Shiv Rawail, is the sixth installment in the wildly popular YRF Spy Universe. Blockbusters like “Ek Tha Tiger,” “Tiger Zinda Hai,” “War,” and “Pathaan” are already part of the series.

In addition to Alia Bhatt, Bobby Deol and Sharvari play important parts in Alpha.
