Today’s manufacturing is more technologically advanced, integrated, and compliant with international standards.

“Global trust, local value chain, scale, sophistication, dependability, and more. In a subtle way, India’s industrial trajectory changed in 2025.

While Indian factories are increasingly catering to foreign markets, local supply chains are becoming stronger. According to the MyGovIndia X handle, “the outcome is an ecosystem that combines resilience with ambition, and execution with reliability.”

With over 99 percent of phones being sold domestically, India has emerged as the second-largest manufacturer of mobile phones worldwide. Produced in India India advances in the value chain of manufacturing.

The opening of India’s first tempered-glass plant in Noida and the shipment of WhAP 8×8 armored cars throughout the world are examples of how Indian manufacturing is becoming more sophisticated. India established the groundwork for future technological supremacy with the approval of ten semiconductor projects in six states and investments totaling Rs 1.60 lakh crore, according to the X article.

The renewable energy ecosystem is being localized in India, from solar modules to batteries. The country’s first ingot-wafer factory, fast growing solar capacity, and local electrode production are laying the groundwork for a robust energy supply chain.

India is constructing to meet demand worldwide. The e-VITARA, India’s first electric SUV, is now available for export to more than 100 nations from Hansalpur. It said, “The HAL–Safran partnership will manufacture turbine parts for LEAP engines, while the Airbus H125 main fuselage is now made in Bengaluru.”

India is still becoming a reliable international center for technology. Google has launched a $15 billion AI and data center cluster in Visakhapatnam, Foxconn has begun production of the iPhone 17 in Bengaluru, and Pixel manufacturing is growing as local production ramps up for the Pixel 10 series.

Additionally, India is bolstering its export network. With the support of a budget of Rs 25,060 crore, the Export Promotion Mission is creating a uniform digital platform for exporters. According to MyGovIndia, electronics exports have increased eightfold over the last ten years, while defense exports reached a record Rs 23,622 crore in FY 2024–2025.
