Bengaluru: A case of a husband brutally murdering his own wife has come to light in the capital Bengaluru. Suspicions and constant quarrels over his wife's work culminated in murder. The tragic incident took place in Agrahara Layout under Sampigehalli police station. 39 year old Ayesha Siddiqui has been murdered. In this case, her husband Syed Jabi is accused of murder, who after the murder went to the police station and surrendered himself.
According to initial investigation by the police, Ayesha Siddiqui used to work in a massage parlor. Her husband Syed Zabi was against this. He repeatedly said that his wife should not work in a massage parlor and also doubted her on this matter. On the night of 26th December also there was a huge fight between the husband and wife over the same issue. The quarrel escalated so much that in anger Syed Zabi slit his wife's throat with a knife and killed her on the spot.
Another thing to note is that this was the third marriage of the deceased Ayesha Siddiqui, whereas this was the second marriage of the accused Syed Zabi. Both of them got married only three months ago. Ayesha Siddiqui was the second wife of Sayyid Zabi, while Sayyid Zabi was Ayesha's third husband.
It is being said that within a few days of their marriage, there was a rift in their relationship and suspicions, fights and discord started increasing. This is why this murder happened. After committing the murder, accused Syed Jabi himself went to Sampigehalli police station and surrendered. Police have registered a case of murder against the accused and arrested him and are investigating further. Another marital murder incident in the capital has created concern among the people. This incident is proof of how dire consequences family disputes can lead to.
