Iranian President Masoud Pezheshkian said on Saturday that his country is in full war with America, Israel and Europe. He gave this statement before Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's meeting with US President Donald Trump on Monday. Pejeshkian said in an interview published on the website of the country's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Saturday that this war is worse than Iran's deadly war with Iraq in the 1980s.
He said that we are in full war with America, Israel and Europe. They do not want our country to remain stable. Pejeshkian said the West's war against Iran is more complex and difficult than the 1980-1988 war with Iraq, which resulted in more than 1 million casualties on both sides.
These comments came two days before the meeting between Trump and Netanyahu, which is to be held during Netanyahu's visit to the US. Iran is expected to be an important issue in this meeting. Nearly 1,100 Iranians, including senior military commanders and nuclear scientists, were killed in Israeli and US strikes on Iran during a 12-day air war in June. 28 people were killed in Israel in Iran's retaliatory missile attacks.
