Tezzbuzz Desk – Even before CES 2026, LG has taken a big step in the gaming monitor segment. The company has introduced three new 5K gaming monitors under its UltraGear evo series. These include the world’s first 5K Mini LED monitor and a massive 52-inch monitor, which is bigger than many TVs. However, LG has not yet disclosed the prices of these monitors. It is expected that the company will give information about their price and availability in the CES 2026 event to be held in January.
The 39-inch model (39GX950B) of LG’s UltraGear GX9 series comes with the company’s latest Tandem WOLED panel. It has 21:9 ultra-wide aspect ratio and 5120 x 2160 (5K) resolution.
This monitor supports dual mode, in which the user can switch between 165Hz high refresh rate and WFHD mode. Thanks to the OLED panel, its response time is just 0.03ms, making it a great option for professional gamers and high-end content creators.
LG’s 27-inch UltraGear GM9 is touted to be the world’s first 5K Mini LED gaming monitor. Generally, the problem of blooming or halo effect is seen in Mini LED panels, but LG claims that it has used advanced blooming control technology in it.
With the help of this technology, better details can be seen in both bright and dark scenes. The monitor comes with VESA DisplayHDR certification and its peak brightness goes up to 1250 nits. Through the dual mode feature, it can be switched between 165Hz and 330Hz.
LG has also introduced a massive 52-inch gaming monitor called the UltraGear G9. Its size is close to a large smart TV and it also supports 5K resolution. According to the company, this monitor is about 33 percent wider than standard Ultra HD monitors. This monitor operates at a constant 240Hz refresh rate, providing a very smooth experience in both gaming and multitasking. LG says that after this monitor the need for multi-monitor setup is almost eliminated.
LG has not yet revealed the prices and launch timeline of these three UltraGear evo gaming monitors. It is believed in the tech industry that during CES 2026, the company will share complete information to their price, features and availability.
These UltraGear evo series monitors targeting the premium gaming segment could prove to be one of the biggest highlights of LG at CES 2026.
