This method helps to calm the mind and body without taking any medicine. Before using this technique the mobile phone should be put on silent or flight mode so that there is no interruption. Then lie comfortably on the pillow and close your eyes. The entire attention is to be focused only on the eye movements.

How to exercise the eyes?

  • First take the eyes to the left (Left), then to the center (Center), then to the right (Right) and again to the center.
  • Then bring the eyes up (up), then center, down (down) and back to center.
  • In the third step, focus on the nose and roll the eyes clockwise.
  • After this, roll the eyes in the opposite direction (anti-clockwise).
  • Do this whole process two to three times. In no time the eyes begin to feel heavy and sleep begins to set in.

According to Adah Sharma, not everyone can fall asleep immediately, but doing this process a few times can definitely help. By focusing on the eyes and breath, negative thoughts, stress and anxiety gradually subside. This method works like meditation and relaxation, which calms the brain and prepares the body for sleep.
