Paris Saint-Germain won the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history by defeating Inter Milan 5–0 in the 2024–2025 final on 31 May in Munich.
Goals were scored by Achraf Hakimi in the 12th minute, Désiré Doué in the 20th and 60th minutes, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the 73rd minute, and Senny Mayulu in the 87th minute. Captain Marquinhos led the team and became the most capped PSG player in European competitions with 107 appearances.
PSG reached the final after defeating Brest, Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Arsenal in the knockout rounds. The team became the second-youngest Champions League winners in history with an average age of 24 years and 3 months.

The goal proved enough to secure the victory.
Bologna were captained by Scotland midfielder Lewis Ferguson. He had a chance in the first half with a long-range effort that went over the bar. Goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski played a key role by making a double save before halftime, including a close-range stop from Luka Jovic.

Lando Norris became the 2025 FIA Formula 1 Drivers’ World Champion after the final race of the season in Abu Dhabi. He finished third at Yas Marina and won the title by two points over Max Verstappen.
Norris is 26 years old and drives for McLaren. He is the 35th different world champion in Formula 1 history, the 11th from the United Kingdom, and the eighth driver to win the title with McLaren.
McLaren won both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships in 2025. This was McLaren’s first driver’s title in 17 years and their first championship double since 1998.
Max Verstappen finished the season with eight race wins. He mounted a late comeback after being 104 points behind in August but fell short in the final standings.
Norris described the championship as emotional and said he wanted to win the title with McLaren, the team he has raced with for eight years.
