XDiavel V4: Ducati has strengthened its presence in the Indian premium motorcycle market with the introduction of the new XDiavel V4. This latest offering represents a significant evolution in the sports cruiser category, combining aggressive performance with long-distance comfort and unmistakable Italian design. The new model replaces the earlier twin-cylinder version and brings with it advanced engineering inspired by Ducati’s racing heritage.
The Ducati XDiavel V4 has been developed to appeal to riders who want cruiser-style ergonomics without compromising on performance. The new Ducati XDiavel V4 is positioned firmly in the premium segment. It is priced at Rs 30.89 lakh ex-showroom for the Burning Red colour option, while the Black Lava variant comes in at Rs 31.19 lakh ex-showroom. These exclusive metallic shades have been created specifically for this model, enhancing its distinct identity and premium appeal.
Powering the XDiavel V4 is the 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine, a motor that shares its DNA with Ducati’s racing and superbike platforms. This engine delivers 168 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 126 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm, placing it among the most powerful cruisers currently available in the Indian market. The performance figures translate into exhilarating acceleration, with Ducati claiming a 0 to 100 kmph time of under three seconds.
A key highlight of this engine is the counter-rotating crankshaft, a feature borrowed from MotoGP technology. This system reduces gyroscopic forces, making the motorcycle feel lighter and more agile, especially during cornering and rapid direction changes. Despite its imposing dimensions, Ducati has managed to reduce weight compared to the previous generation.
