What the review pointed out

The film received mixed reactions after release. ETimes review spoke about how viewers now watch Dileep films differently. The review said, “The thing about watching Dileep movies now is that you are always on the lookout for Easter eggs related to the actress assault case, in which he, as eight accused, was recently acquitted.” It also mentioned how filmmakers seem to add bold moments on purpose. The review added that even the title Bha Bha Ba, which stands for Bhavam Bhakti Bahumanam, feels linked to his real-life situation. There is also a scene where Dileep’s character says he will get back at the media. Another action scene has a voice-over saying “this is a comeback.”

Overall, Bha. Bha. Ba.' has crossed Rs 22 crore, which is a decent number. But the sharp fall on day 12 and low occupancy raise concern.
