The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council has finalized the examination centers for the High School and Intermediate board examinations of 2026.
Prayagraj: The UP Board has finalized the examination centers for the board exams. The UP Board's Class 10 and 12 examinations will be conducted at 8033 examination centers. The UP Board's High School and Intermediate exams will be held between February 18 and March 12. A total of 52,30,297 candidates are registered for the UP Board exams in 2026. 27,50,945 candidates are registered for High School and 24,79,352 for Intermediate. Exams to be held at 8033 examination centers
Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh stated that the examinations will be held at 8033 examination centers across the state. He informed that examination centers have been established in 596 government schools, 3453 aided schools, and 3984 unaided schools. This year, the number of examination centers has increased by 585. 7448 examination centers were proposed, but only 8033 were selected.
Examination Timings
It should be noted that the Class 10 Hindi and Primary Hindi examinations, which were earlier scheduled for February 16, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 11:15 AM, have now been rescheduled to February 18, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM. Similarly, the Class 12 General Hindi and Hindi papers will now be held on February 18, 2026, in the afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM, instead of February 16, 2026. The Sanskrit paper, which was originally scheduled for March 10, 2026, will now be held on March 12, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.
