A psychic is warning a new deadly outbreak might be closer than we think, describing it as "a serious health crisis."

Selina Avalon, a psychic medium and astrologer who claims to foresee global events and is the face behind the SoulVoyance platform on multiple social channels, shared the prediction in a blog post back in October, outlining what she believes lies ahead for the world in the near future.

Detailing her visions around various topics, Avalon said: "I'm seeing what looks like a very big plague emerging in the continent of Africa."

She described the threat as one that we are still not aware exists and is dangerous, adding: "This plague is a new strain of deadly bacteria or virus."

The scale of the outbreak, according to Avalon, is expected to be severe. "It is going to be an epidemic within Africa," she said, estimating it to begin taking shape "roughly in the next five years."

She did not specify how geographically widespread the illness could become beyond the continent, but the language used suggests a serious global health concern - although she did not draw comparisons from it to recent pandemics experienced by humanity.

Avalon, who provides weekly updates on her visions related to various topics, describes her work as combining psychic insight with esoteric and astrological interpretation.

Through her multiple platforms, she boasts about positive comments about forecasts made via psychic readings, tarot, Akashic Records, astrology and mediumship, and broadcasts her public visions in videos and podcasts.

Avalon says her role is to share visions as she receives them, particularly when they relate to large-scale humanitarian or global risks society is expected to face.

As well as her warnings about a potential pandemic or epidemic, Avalon also outlined several other warnings in the same 2026 forecast post.

These include widespread cyberattacks and power outages in the United Kingdom, the death of a major world leader followed by a state funeral, the rise of artificial intelligence that would replace physical human tasks, the escalation of existing global conflicts, advances in aviation technology and other major geopolitical and economic changes. Not all of her visions are expected to come true in 2026, with some potentially unfolding in five to ten years.
