Dr Daksha Shah (Executive Health Officer) of Mumbai Municipal Corporation said, “88 programs were planned in 2025 focusing on primary health. All those initiatives and programs are proving successful. Municipal health department will work with these programs and some new schemes in 2026.”

The municipality has trained Asha workers and they are doing house-to-house awareness work. Also they are identifying ‘dozer to door’ patients. Every Saturday-Sunday, suspected patients are brought to the municipality’s maternity for examination by Gynecology Haraksh, focusing on women above 30 years of age.
