Punjab Board Date Sheet 2026:  A major relief has come for lakhs of students associated with the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). The board has officially released the announcement that students have been waiting for for a long time. The complete date sheet for the Class 8th, 10th, and 12th board examinations for the academic session 2025-26 has been declared. This will help students plan their studies better. The schedule released by the board clearly provides information about the start date, time, and major subjects of the examinations, eliminating any confusion.

When will the board exams begin?
According to the Punjab Board, the Class 8th and Class 12th board examinations will begin on February 17, 2026.  The examinations for Class 10th students will commence on March 6, 2026. The board has also stated that the examinations for Class 10th and 12th (including open school students) will be conducted from 11:00 AM to 2:15 PM. This will provide students with clarity regarding the examination timings in advance.

Class 10th Examination Schedule
The Class 10th board examinations will begin on March 6, 2026, with the Social Science subject. This will be followed by the Singing and Music examination on March 7. The Punjabi-A and Punjabi History and Culture examinations are scheduled for March 9. The English paper will be held on March 11, Science on March 16, and Mathematics on March 24, 2026.  In addition, the Computer Science examination will be held on March 27, Home Science on March 30, and Health and Physical Education on April 1, 2026.

Class 12th Exam Dates
The Class 12th board examinations will begin on February 17, 2026, with the Home Science subject. The Economics examination will be held on February 25 and the Accountancy examination on February 27, 2026. The General English paper is scheduled for March 7. The mathematics exam will be held on March 25, while the chemistry and dance exams will be conducted on April 4, 2026.

Last year, the Class 10 exams were held from March 10 to April 4, 2025, and the Class 12 exams were held from February 19 to April 4, 2025.

To download their class date sheet, students should first visit the official website of the Punjab Board, pseb.ac.in. On the homepage, click on the link for the Class 8th, 10th, or 12th date sheet. The complete date sheet will appear on your screen, which can be downloaded and saved for future reference.
