Drinking less water during a party can cause dehydration, which increases headache and fatigue. Drink one or two glasses of lukewarm water as soon as you wake up in the morning. Coconut water, lemon water or plain buttermilk also helps in fulfilling the lack of fluid in the body. By drinking enough water, energy starts coming back gradually.
Fried and heavy food is common in New Year parties. It is important to give rest to the stomach the next day. It is better to eat light, home-made food like pulses, vegetables, khichdi, soup or fruits. This improves digestion and the body does not feel burdened. Avoid eating too much sweet or junk food.
