Shoppers looking for leggings that are both versatile enough for work outs and wearing as daywear have given a pair on Amazon more than 10,000 five star reviews. The budget friendly option comes in a range of colours and despite already being less than £10, currently ahs a further 31% off.
The SINOPHANT High Waisted Leggings for Women, in black, are reduced to £6.91. Other colour optons include dark yellow, which is reduced to £6.99, army green reduced to £6.91 and other hues like beige, leopard, rose pink, navy at varying price points.
They come in different size ranges from s-m, l-xl, xxl, 3xl and 4xl too. They're high waisted and are said to be "very comfortable to wear".
The matte black finish keeps them versatile meaning they're easy to pair with any other workout gear. Worn for a relaxed weekend look or travel days, team them with an oversized knit on the top and trainers. At the gym or for yoga classes, pair with a fitted top and lightweight trainers and a puffer jacket for warmth.
Elsewhere Next has Black Sports Dry Tech Tummy Control High Waist Full Length Legging for £28, which also come in grey marl and navy blue. They come in regular and petite sizes, and are high rise and high stretch. They're made from a soft fabric that Next says 'stays opaque' during exercise.
After Christmas, big retailers like Debenhams still have sales going on, so shoppers could look at the Regatta Holeen Compression Pro Stretch Leggings which they have reduced to £20, down from £50. These come in jet black and mid grey (reduced to £25), and in sizes from eight to 20. They are sculpting and have a tummy control waistband, and also offer UV50+ sun protection, the description says.
The SINOPHANT High Waisted Leggings have more than 80,000 in total on Amazon and 69% of those are five stars. One shopper said: "They are the softest most comfortable leggings I've ever owned, and I have Lulu's, Sweaty Betty etc. They wash well and are long. I'm 186cm and the full length are great for me. They're not shiny which I love, they wouldn't be leggings for sucking you in but if you're just looking for comfy leggings for everyday they are great."
The price and fit was praised by one shopper who said: "I bought these high waisted leggings in black and I'm really impressed, especially for the price. They fit perfectly, are very comfortable to wear, and don't feel tight or restrictive.
"The material is thick enough that they're not see-through at all, which is something I always worry about with cheaper leggings. They sit nicely at the waist and stay in place throughout the day without needing constant adjusting. I paid £6.00 for them, which feels like an absolute bargain for how good they are. I'll definitely be buying another pair."
However a shopper did point out there are no pockets: "Love these leggings, they are so soft and comfortable to wear. The tummy control is brilliant (I have size XL) and the fit is perfect. Excellent quality but no pockets."
Another person noted they come up long, saying: "These are the most comfortable leggings ever. A little long for me."
While another five star review added: "Lovely soft leggings. They're not see-through and the leg length is perfect for me at 5ft7. Great price too. Plenty of stretch so no worries about them feeling too tight. I will buy more of these."
