The action-packed spy thriller Dhurandhar starring Ranveer Singh in the lead has been setting new records at the box office ever since its release. Despite having strong competition from Hollywoods Avatar: Fire and Ash the film continues to perform impressively both domestically and internationally. Recently famous singer Badshah took to social media to express his love for the film and encouraged his followers to pick Dhurandhar over the latest installment of the Avatar franchise. Badshahs love for Dhurandhar over Avatar: Fire and Ash Badshah known for his bold statements and love for cinema shared his opinion on X (formerly Twitter) urging his fans “If life gives you 3 hours 30 minutes watch Dhurandhar not Avatar.” His comment quickly caught attention especially as Avatar a high-budget visually stunning film has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. However Badshahs strong endorsement of Dhurandhar showcased his belief in the movies quality and action-packed storyline. In another post Badshah commented on the film’s Knight Rider theme featured in the end credits scene and he praised director Aditya Dhar calling him a “geeky genius.” This shows how much Badshah admired the films intricacies especially the attention to detail in its soundtrack and themes further pushing his fans to give Dhurandhar a chance over the Hollywood blockbuster. The film which stars Ranveer Singh as Hamza an Indian spy infiltrating a Pakistani gang has already crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark globally. Domestically it has earned over Rs 700 crore making it one of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2025. The film’s gripping storyline follows Hamza as he goes undercover in Rehman Dakait’s (played by Akshaye Khanna) criminal gang in Pakistans Lyari to expose their connections with the ISI. Dhurandhar features an impressive cast with Arjun Rampal R. Madhavan Sanjay Dutt Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun in pivotal roles all contributing to the film’s emotional depth and high-stakes action scenes.
