There is discussion everywhere whether Jasprit Bumrah will play the second test against England or not. Now England’s fast bowler Mark Wood has claimed that Bumrah will be seen in both the second and third test games. The Indian team is already 1-0 behind in the series. After which Wood believes that Bumrah should play another Test to help the team come out of this.

Let us tell you that from chief selector Ajit Agarkar to head coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Shubman Gill, everyone had confirmed before the series that Bumrah would play only three Tests in the series. They do not want Bumrah to become a victim of any serious injury once again. Bumrah was injured in the last match of the five-match series in Australia. After that he remained out of the team for about four months.

England’s fast bowler Wood is not part of the series due to injury. He can make a comeback in the 5th test. During an interview, Wood said about Bumrah, “I am telling you, he will play both the matches.” They have to do that because they can’t afford to be 2-0 down, so you need your best bowlers. There is no way Bumrah can say that I should not play at Lord’s. I think they would like to play both matches. Suppose India wins the next match and the score is 1-1, I think he will want to play the next match. Every foreign bowler wants his name to be on the board, it will also remain like that.”

The second test will be played tomorrow, July 2.
The second match of the five-match Test series between India and England will start tomorrow i.e. from 2nd July. This match will be played at Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham.
