The Traitors viewers have already sealed one contestant's fate after just two episodes of the newBBC series.
The cherished gameshow made its comeback on New Year's Day, witnessing its inaugural season four elimination this evening (January 2nd).
Presenter Claudia Winkleman revealed her chosen Traitors as Rachel, Stephen, and Hugo in the opening episode, whilst introducing a mysterious fourth betrayer.
This fourth member wears a red cloak rather than the traditional green worn by the other three. Their unique powers enable them to compile a shortlist of Faithfuls each evening, which is subsequently handed to the original Traitors to choose their final victim.
During Friday's instalment, nursery teacher Netty became the first player to be eliminated from the competition. Prior to her departure, Netty had revealed she knew Ross in the real world, reports Wales Online.
This revelation sparked suspicion amongst fellow competitors, with some fearing they might use their bond to conspire against other participants.
The Faithfuls' mistrust has only intensified following Netty's murder, with Ross enduring intense questioning from his castmates. They suspect he may have orchestrated Netty's elimination to shield himself from growing suspicion.
This development has convinced viewers at home that Ross's time in the castle is running out.
Just minutes into the recent episode, one viewer posted on X, previously Twitter: "Ross is doomed. No way out of this - even if he stays tonight, the idea will persist and persist until he is gone."
Another viewer chimed in: "Ross, it's over for you, son. I actually feel bad for him #TheTraitors."
A third commented: "Not gonna lie, I'd also be FUMING if I got on #TheTraitors and then someone I briefly knew 15 years ago turned up, started screaming about it, and completely stifled my game."
Others have rallied behind the London-based star. One fan wrote: "Ross being under fire for knowing someone in the past is unfair tbh I hope he doesn't go I think he deserves to prove himself #TheTraitors."
Another defended: "They're doing entirely too much when it comes to Ross, yes, he's clearly nervous, but it's not that deep #thetraitors."
Despite the suspicion, Ross managed to survive the first roundtable. Instead, Judy was booted out of the castle by her co-stars.
Nevertheless, viewers believe Ross will continue to face scrutiny in the upcoming episodes.
The Traitors continues on BBC One tomorrow night at 7.45pm
