On Friday, January 2, Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh Kavinder Gupta has announced to make this film tax free in his union territory.

Information about Dhurandhar being tax free has been given through the X account of Ladakh Lieutenant Governor's office. The post read, "Lieutenant Governor Kavidnar Gupta has made 'Dhurandhar' tax free in UT Ladakh. A lot of the scenes of this film have been shot in Ladakh and the picturesque scenes have been shown. This signals strong support for the filmmakers and reinforces the efforts of the Union Territory to emerge as a preferred destination for film shooting and tourism. The administration is also working on a new film policy. Film production in Ladakh will get full support.”
