How to find bluetooth earbuds

Bluetooth earbuds have solved the problems to wires, but due to their small size they often get lost somewhere in the house. It is common for them to get lost in the sofa cushions, under the bed or in the pockets of jeans. If earbuds are not available while going to office or college, then the worry increases. But, with the help of some simple techniques you can detect them.

1. Using ‘Find My Device’

Device tracking option is available in both Android and iPhone. Android users can track the earbuds using Google’s Find My Device app. Selecting ‘Play Sound’ will play sound from the earbuds. Whereas iPhone users can see the last location of their AirPods from the Find My app.

2. Support of loud music

If the earbuds do not support the ‘Find My’ feature or it is not working, turn on Bluetooth and connect the earbuds. Once connected, play the song at higher volume on YouTube or music player. You can easily find them while listening to your voice. Make sure the battery is charged and there is less noise in the room.

3. Use of Bluetooth signal

Another way to find them is by using the earbuds’ signal. Try connecting by moving around to different places in the house. As soon as the earbuds connect, it means they are within a range of 10 meters. If the distance increases, the connection will be lost and you will know where to find them.

4. Be careful

Tech experts say that earbuds should be placed in their case quickly after use. The case is large, due to which it can be easily seen and the earbuds remain safe.

5. Adopt smart habits

Make a habit of always keeping the earbuds in a designated place. Be it a work desk or a special pocket of a bag, keeping them in a fixed place reduces the chances of losing them.
