The producers of Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming movie Parasakthi have at last made public the trailer.
Sudha Kongara’s directing is at the centre of a story full of action and political historical drama surrounding the Hindi imposition.
The time frame is the 1960s of India. Following delays in the release, Parasakthi will now battle it out in cinemas with Vijay’s last film Jana Nayagan.
Parasakthi storyline explained
Sivakarthikeyan’s character in the trailer makes a light-hearted quip about people from the South getting to North India and using Hindi and vice versa for the other way around. As the legislation is introduced declaring Hindi the main language, conflict starts.
The anti-Hindi protests will soon turn into a fight of ideology between the two friends. One will see Ravi Mohan playing an antagonist and Sreleela will be cast as the heroine trying to make Sivakarthikeyan fluent in Hindi.
Music for the film will be composed by G V Prakash Kumar, cinematography handled by Ravi K Chandran and edited by Sathish Suriya.
