Hardoi: A shocking case has come to light from Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh, where a woman priest’s patience broke. Fed up with teasing and lewd comments, he beat up a middle-aged man in the middle of the road. There has been a stir in the area after this incident and now its video is spreading like wildfire on social media.
This entire incident took place in Ghanshyam Nagar of Beniganj Kotwali area. Mahant Mohini Das does the work of worship and maintenance at the Brahmadev place located here. It is being told that a person named Shyam Kishore, a resident of the village, was harassing them for a long time. Mohini Das alleges that he used to make lewd comments on her every day and was mentally harassing her by teasing her.
Fed up with this continuous harassment, Mahant Mohini Das decided to teach the miscreants a lesson. As soon as accused Shyam Kishore repeated his actions, Mohini Das caught him at Brahmadev place itself. In anger, he slapped the accused. Someone present at the spot made a video of this entire incident, which has now become a topic of discussion on the internet.
After the video went viral on social media, Beniganj Kotwali police has also swung into action. Taking cognizance of the matter, the police have started interrogating both the parties. Officials say that the incident is being investigated in depth and efforts are being made to find out the real reason for the dispute. Whatever facts emerge after the completion of the investigation, strict legal action will be taken on that basis.
