XLRI Publishes XAT 2026 Candidate Response Sheet on Official Website
Candidates aspiring for admission to MBA and other management programmes have received an important update. Xavier School of Management (XLRI) has officially released the XAT 2026 response sheet. Applicants who appeared for the Xavier Aptitude Test can now access and download their individual answer sheets from the official portal, xatonline.in.
The response sheet allows candidates to review the answers they marked during the examination and calculate their probable scores before the declaration of the official result. This step plays a crucial role in helping aspirants analyse their performance and prepare for the next stages of the admission process.
The XAT 2026 examination was conducted on January 4, 2026, across the country in a single shift. The exam was held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. As one of the most prestigious national-level MBA entrance exams, XAT witnessed participation from thousands of candidates aiming for admission into top business schools.
XAT continues to remain a key gateway for management education, especially for institutes affiliated with the Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI).
Candidates can download their response sheet by following these simple steps:
Visit the official website at xatonline.in

Candidates may also use the direct response sheet download link provided on the official website for quicker access.
The response sheet enables candidates to compare their marked answers with the official answer key once it is released. This helps in estimating the expected score and understanding sectional performance. Early score assessment allows candidates to shortlist institutes, plan interviews, and prepare for further selection rounds such as GD, PI, or WAT.
The XAT exam is conducted by XLRI – Xavier School of Management on behalf of XAMI. More than 250 management institutes across the country accept XAT scores for admission to MBA and other full-time management programmes, making it one of the most widely accepted entrance tests after CAT.
The XAT 2026 question paper consisted of four main sections:
Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (VA & LR)
Decision Making (DM)
Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation (QA & DI)
General Knowledge (GK)
Each section evaluates different managerial and analytical skills essential for management education.
Based on the released response sheet, candidates can estimate their scores once the provisional answer key is published. XLRI is expected to release the XAT 2026 provisional answer key soon, followed by the final result. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates regarding objections, final answer keys, and scorecards.
