The South American country Venezuela is a country full of various resources. It has crude oil reserves of about 303.3 billion barrels, which no country in the world has. Therefore Venezuela is the fifth largest oil exporter in the world. It exports about 9 lakh barrels of crude oil daily. According to the report of the year 2023, Venezuela produced only 0.8% of the world’s total crude oil.
According to a survey, there are also 12 thousand million tons of iron ore in 2016. It is also estimated to have 40 lakh tonnes of gold mineral reserves. Venezuela has many minerals, including coal, steel, aluminium, nickel, manganese, copper and zinc.
According to reports, 60 million tons of aluminum ore is in Venezuela. There are reserves of 10 billion tonnes of coal and 12 thousand million tonnes of iron ore.
On January 2, America attacked Venezuela and arrested its President Nicolas Maduro and his wife Celia Florence. The US had accused President Nicolas Maduro of international drug trafficking. So, are drugs the real reason for arresting President Nicolas Maduro or America’s eye on these resources? Although this is not clear yet.
