Shahid Afridi on ICC: In world cricket, the ongoing tension between the cricket boards of India and Bangladesh is in the headlines. After BCCI expelled Mustafizur Rahman from IPL, Bangladesh Cricket Board took many big decisions. He even emailed the ICC about not playing the T20 World Cup in India and shifting the venues of his matches from Indian grounds to Sri Lanka. But, now there is news that ICC has decided not to accept his demand. Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi was seen coming out in support of Bangladesh after the ICC decision.
Shahid Afridi expressed his opinion on this entire issue on Pakistan TV. He strongly condemned ICC's stance and instructed it to change its thinking and attitude. Let us know what Shahid Afridi said on the ongoing tension between India, Bangladesh and ICC.
According to former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi, the role of ICC in the ongoing dispute between India and Bangladesh is completely shameful for world cricket. He said that if things continue like this then in the future all countries will move away from India. Exactly the same step taken by Bangladesh. Shahid Afridi stressed that ICC has always been inclined towards India. There is a need to bring change in it and stop it.
T20 World Cup 2026 is to be played in India and Sri Lanka. In this tournament starting from 7th February, Bangladesh has to play all its group matches in India.
